Bumps?

by Jeanette, Aug 31, 2001 12:00AM
I haven't thought twice as to whether or not the bumps that I have recently developed are do to medication.  However, these are little bumps, not pimples that are somewhat hard on the back of my hands, forearm and chest.  Have you heard of such a side effect?  I am a 19 year old female that is healthy.  I am on 5mg of Paxil and 450mg of Wellbutrin SR.  I was increased by 150mg of wellbutrin around a month ago.  Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Jeanette

I have not heard of that..usually more of a rash, but wouldn't rule out the possibility...varies a lot from person to person. ASk your doctor about decreasing the dose increase to see what happens.

I noticed that when I started on Paxil two and a half years ago that I broke out in tiny pimples on my back, shoulders and upper arms.  They started to go away when I stopped taking the Paxil, but came back when I resumed taking the meds five months laters.  I have found that a good body wash with one of those little scrunchy scrubby things helps, and different moisturisers also help.  Doesn't sound like the same thing as you have been having though.
