I am an ocd sufferer and have seen my general md for prescriptions for Buspar 1/2 pill in the morning and 1/2 a pill before bed. So the Buspar is 15 mg per day. The Zoloft I take around lunchtime, and it is 100 mg. When I tried to take 150 mg. of Zoloft. I freaked out, I was just so agitated and talking so fast and I felt as though my anxiety and my ocd (picking skin from my fingers combined with ezecma) were getting worse. So back down to 100 mgs of Zoloft. I can live with the occasional headache. I have tried Zanax before bed instead of the Buspar and it does help too but I would prefer not to take something that could become addictive. I have an addictive personality and I know that I would use it as a crutch. I am seeing a physichiatrist on April 5. That is my next step, I am wondering if maybe something else will work better for my ocd's (picking and thoughts of death and pain) and panic attacks then what I am on, could you suggest something that I could suggest to her???

The combination of medications you are on is a good combination for what you have. Your psychiatrists could substitute several different medications for the zoloft if the side effects are too bad, including prozac, paxil, and celexa.
wellbutrin instead of buspar is something that will bring back your sex drive.
