Right before i get my period i become very irratable and depressed.  I am sad about everything and tend to lash out at my husband.  Although my husband and i have issues we are working on, i tend to say really hurtful things to him when i am pre-menstral.

The answer is yes, you have a pre menstrual mood change and this can be approached several different ways. Your gynecologist should be the first one to consult, along with some hormone analysis.
