Is there a better alternative to Depakote for a woman with MR, Bi Polar disorder and OCD? The Depakote seems to make the syptoms (symptoms) like "checking", behavorial outbursts and pressured speech worse.

It depends on why this medication is being used..is it for the bipolar, or for seizures or for symptom relief......yes, there are many different medications to use for all three of these purposes, and if this seems to be ineffective,a  discussion with the doctor is required to sort out why and what alternative are available.
