About 9 months back, I had my first migraine attack
- since that day I have been bothered by a persistent
migraine/tension daily headache with blurred vision.
I am currently on Atenolol (50 mg) for bp and headaches,
Zoloft (75 mg) and Elavil (10 mg).
The Zoloft really has helped me - it lifted most of the
anxiety and returned me to almost normal functioning.
However I am always extremely fatigued. My vision
improved dramatically when I reduced the Elavil dosage
to the present 10 mg - however it is still troublesome.
Do you believe that vision problems can still be
a problem with Zoloft + such a low dosage of Elavil ?
Can chronic daily headache be a symptom of depression ?

It appears that Zoloft has been helpful in relieving your anxiety. Anxiety disorders often go hand in hand with depression, which may present with symptoms such as fatigue or low energy. Chronic daily headaches would be an unusual presentation of depression. Fatigue and blurred vision are both common side effects of Elavil, but would be unusual side effects of Zoloft. Blood levels of Elavil may also be increased by Zoloft. You may find it helpful to discuss your concerns further with your treating physician, and consider consultation with a psychiatrist for thorough evaluation and treatment.
