Dosage of seroquel

I have bipolar disorder and am on multiple medications, including seroqul. My dr recently decided to increase seroquel from 300 to 400mg at night because my mood is still unstable.  He said that I can continue to titrate in a week if not better and said 100mg in am and 400mg at night.  I forgot to ask but can I take the whole 500mg at night since it is sedating?  Thanks

that is a very hefty dose, and it depends on how you tolerate the after effects the next day.  You should discuss this in detail with your doctor.
