Dry Heaves

by Sailor2282, Jun 27, 2008 02:49PM
I've been having attacks of dry heaves for the past year. It seems to be in the morning after drinking coffee, so I stop the coffee. That seem to help, but I still get dry heaves when ever I smell something bad. I also get dry heaves after working out. While working out (treadmill) I have no problem, but when I stop, I fight the feeling of the Dry heaves. When I do have an attack I will gag hard two or three times, then it will pass.

I used to do setups a lot, but now when I attempt setups, I have to be very careful I don’t get a muscle spasm in my abdomen (not sure if this is related).

I was told that a hernia could cause the dry heaving, but I don't have any lumps or what I think are symptoms.
