Look Doc, im freaking 13 years old and i cant stop masturbating. I started when i was 12 because my frend told me about it and i was curious and since then i cant stop. since i started, i began puberty and got alot of zits on my face and mood swings. i believe that masturbating triggered my puberty and now i have a **** load of armpit hair and im 5 ft and 8 inches. and dont forget that im only 13 years old. i really want to quit and i hate doing it please help me doc.

I would like to help you, but I am not comfortable giving advice to someone of your age without your parent's permission...sorry, try the other forums, they may be able to help...but you did get some good advice already....and that is, that masturbation is a normal activity, and how you get control of excess is by making a decision to limit yourself.

I'm not the doc, but masturbation didn't trigger puberty.  Life does that.  When I first started masturbating it was pretty compulsive, too, but when I was told it was normal it settled down.  So it's normal; this is part of life's changes.  They will never quit coming.

Puberty was inevitable whether you masturbated or not.
If you can't stop then you may need to speak to your doctor or school counselor.

There are some advantages to being tall but if you have any problems or concerns, again, speak to your doctor.  That goes for the acne and mood swings too.
