i have few problems that i think are related...i get into really intense moods of depression and they end really suddenly...like ill be completely sad and down and black feelings and such and then all of a sudden ill be "fine" and it kinda freaks me out...also i often cut my wrists...i dont really do it with any intention of self-termination but the bleeding itself sometimes makes me feel better...then i make light of it when my friends notice or whatever...and finally i get way too attatched when im in a romantic relationship...i recently scared my last girlfriend off because i wanted this huge commitment right away...and i get all crazy if i cant be with the person im dating(when someone is dumb enough to date me) isnt with me all the time...what do you think may be wrong here?
thanks

You may be suffering from borderline Personality Disorder.

Borderline personality disorder is characterized by a long standing, pervasive pattern of unstable relationships, unstable self image, unstable mood and poor impulse control. Feelings of emptiness and fears of being abandoned are also common. Recurrent suicidal and/or self mutilating behavior are usually present.

You may benefit in consulting with a psychiatrist for an evaluation.
