LUVOX AND BLOOD PRESSURE

Since I have been taking Luvox, I notice that my blood pressure (systolic) is high.  Can Luvox (used for OCD and depression) raise blood pressure?

Dear Dee
Luvox (Fluvoxamine) is an SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) that is used in the treatment of depression and obsessive compulsive disorder. Luvox can cause high blood pressure. It can also cause headaches, nausea, diarrhea, insomnia, dry mouth etc. Consult your physician for appropriate recommendation.

Doctor, are there any SSRI antidepressants that do not cause high blood pressure?
