Neverending thoughts

I was diagnosed with panic/anxiety disorder. I also have over compulsive disorder. It began with thinking something was wrong with my heart and I had every test including stress test, chest exray, echocardiogram. Everything came out fine. Now I have seemed to move on to other things that I think are wrong with me. I take 20 mg of paxil and 1 mg of Xanax which I am slowly weaning myself off of. Do you think I should be taking a higher dose of Paxil. How can I stop these thoughts. Thankyou.

The maximum dose for Paxil is 50mg. so you can try more. Ask your doctor.  Be sure and be careful when you finally discontinue Paxil, it has to be done slowly.
