After that, she'd like to take me off the Trazodone. I'm a bit nervous to try the Paxil CR, because I've heard it could possibly increase my anxiety in the beginning. My psych said "no, it's not stimulating." Lots of conflicting info on these SSRIs. Will the Klonopin help to counteract increased anxiety, if it does happen? Also, what other side effects should I be aware of with Paxil CR? I've been reading that weight gain is a significant problem. What is your opinion overall?
P.S. I should mention that on May 17 I started on Zoloft 50mg. Two weeks into it I experienced a major panic attack that lasted hours. The next day, I had constant anxiety. My primary care physician switched me to Lexapro, which made my anxiety 10x worse. All I could do was pace around. It felt like I had too much adrenalin in my body. That's why I've been on Xanax, and now Klonopin. My concern is ... if two other SSRIs caused me to have increased anxiety, is it likely that Paxil CR will, too?
Thanks very much,
Anne
