Paxil and multivitamins

by amidying408, Nov 02, 2009 04:35PM
Hi,

This may be a silly question, but I've been on 10mg of Paxil since February of this year. I was wondering if it would be OK to take a multivitamin along with Paxil? Is there anything I should be concerned about?

I have this anxiety / fear that if I take a multi while on medication I'll have a panic attack.

Thank you for any info you can provide.

Absolutely, positively, no problem taking a multivitamin with paxil...

I just saw a documentary on vitamins this morning.  It said that in excess or where there isn't a deficiency that vitamins can be harmful.

There is no such thing as a silly question.  Thanks for asking it.

If you do decide to take a multivitamin and do have a panic attack it would probably be from the anxiety and not the multivitamin.

You not only can but should take a multivitamin, as well as a good stress B and probably some extra magnesium as well.  All medications leach certain nutrients from the body, and all can stress the liver, so it's good to keep up your health when you take medication.
