Penile Cancer

by xbox, Dec 29, 2001 12:00AM
Hello i am a 16 year old male that has discovered a lump near the base of my penis right after the pubic region. I is on the shaft of the penis.  No discoloration or anything like that.  Could it be a zit?  I can lift the lump and pinch the skin underneath it.  Or could it be a cyst.  No discoloration it kind of hurts like a zit when you touch it though.  I am not sexually active and do not have any cancer in my family.  When i leave it alone and don't touch it for a couple of days it seems not to hurt as much when i touch it and it kind of goes away.  Please help.

Thanks

It does not sound like anything serious, or more serious than an inflamed cycst, but you should have it examined by your doctor just to make sure, and this is especially true if it persists more than a week more, or gets worse.
