Serezone

I was taking Serezone for depression, 200mg twice daily. For the past two years. Six months ago I decided things in my life had changed and were better. I slowly went down in mgs. until i was down to 50 mgs. Slowly weaned.
I recently was watching television and saw a commericial for Serezone and the side effects, liver damage. Can Serezone cause this? If so what are the syptoms (symptoms)? What test are required to find out if this has happened?
Any info you can respond with is greatly apperciated.

If you are concerned, ask your doctor for a liver profile. It is simple, inexpensive, and will answer your questions.  If you don't have any serious symptoms now, the chances are very great that you have no problem.  But make yourself comfortable with this test.

I have been taking Serzone 200mg a day for 4 and 1/2 years, and desire so bad to be off of it, and everytime I ever withdrew it a little bit even, I feel horrible by the 4th day. I am concerned about my liver also. How did you feel cutting it down ?

After taking serzon for over a year. I convinced my Dr to try another teat men. Since I've been off Serzon I have had diarrhea so bad for the last month.
I heard they are advertising on TV that if you have been taking this drug and are having symptoms to call this Lowers office. I myself have not seen the commercial yet. But something is not right with mt digestive tract. I', now on propranolol, Zoloft and clorazapam. Is it the new drugs causing this? Or the serzon that has damages me?
