Sleep

I am wondering if I have reason to be concerned, my boyfriend sweats very heavily during his sleep. This happens all the time, but sometimes more than others. His entire body will be wet. He is deffinetly not stressed, so I don't know what else it could be. Thank you

Excessive sweating can have several medical causes. Your boyfriend's physician will be in a better position to determine the cause of his excessive sweating, after a thorough history and examination.

Night sweats can be due to a lot of different medical problems, rather than stress. He should go to a medical doctor and have a physical exam. So should you, and tell the doc about your boyfriend's symptoms.

I'm going to be seeing my physician w/i next 2 weeks. For myself, being female, I get the night sweats real bad. Sometimes I have to change my top 2-3 times. I do take certain meds. If your boyfriend on any type of anti-depressants and are you sure he isnt stressed/depressed? I dont know, I know where I'm at and I need to find out if their is a link between my meds/sweats/depression and will have a physical. I think its a good suggestion to go see the doc. I'm in my mid 40's and I was told by my sis it was going to be great!!! HA!
Sorry for the cynisism (cant spell either).
email me if you find anything out. I cant stand these sweats. And I've already been checked out for menopause. No way, No how..
