Taking Wellbutrin Again

by shanenoc, Apr 01, 2004 12:00AM
I started taking Wellbutrin back in June of 2003. I took it for about 2 months, 150mg once a day for the first week and then 150mg twice a day after that. I stopped taking it due to the fact that I couldnt see my doctor anymore because my health insurance was cut because I changed jobs. I havent been on it for about 8 months now. The Wellbutrin did help me with my ADD/depression/anxiety. I have had alot of anxiety lately more than usual and kinda overwhelming. I wanted to start taking Wellbutrin again but right now I cant see a doctor because I dont have health insurance yet. I will be getting health insurance next month through my work and I still have one months supply of Wellbutrin at home. Would it be safe to take the Wellbutrin til I get my health insurance next month even though I am not seeing Pych. right now? And if I do, will it have the same effects it had the first time I took it 8 months ago?

I can't prescribe or make personal recommendations on the internet, but in general,if it worked before at that dosage, and was without side effects, you seem to be on safe ground.
