Dear William W. White,

Unfortunately I was unable to find information on term " PAN GLANDULAR SYNDROME" or "PAN GLANDULAR FAILURE".
An illness which may be similar is a pituitary gland dysfunction.
The pituitary gland also known as the master gland. It supplies stimulating hormones to many gands, such as the thyroid, adrenal, testicles and ovaries.
A dysfunction in this gland depending on the location and cause may present with different signs and symptoms.
The clinical manifestations depend on the hormones involved.
Your question may be better answered by an endocrinologist.

Sorry, I could not be of more assistance.

Respectfully,

HFHS M.D.-SW

I am on methadone detox. I started at 120 mgs. I am now down to 50 mgm. Is it possible to keep dropping my dose & not experience any undesirable symptoms? Also I have anal discomfort despite a high fibre diet with plenty of water, Senna, stool soft'ners (small hemo.,itching,etc.) Using prescription creme has not helped much. Sometimes cremes cause more pain (Anusol 2.5% hydr'sone.) Tucks Pads give some relief.#3 question, will using stool softeners, metamucil, senna, cause any long term effects on digestive tract?-also I use an occasional tap water enema..#4 question I've heard LAAM or Orlaam is not as constipating as Methadone. Is Laam avaiable through my family doctor? Please tell me something about this MED.(Laam). Is this med. avaiable through methadone clinics only? Is it as effective as methadone in detoxing off of opiates? Any advice or help would be appreciated.

                                    Thanks,
