I have answered this, but just to make sure. Going off Xanax is difficult..ask your doctor to substitute Klonopin, then you will be perfectly safe...and then you can get off of klonopin easily when you are ready.

i was on xanax for two yrs.  i was taking .25 of it everyday.  when i got off of it i felt very dizzy.  make sure to take a week off from work when getting off of it so, you will feel better.  it won't kill you.  take it easy and try to relax and tell your doctors to listen to you or get new doctors.
