Hi doctor,
I’m Pasha and I’ve previously posted u a question regarding anxiety which started from an incident of impotency a few months back, which then turned into fear, obsessive compulsive disorder and depression. i had asked for ur advice for a good antidepressant widout sexual side effects and u said that wellbutrin might help. now the problem is that wellbutrin or any medicine wid the chemical bupropion is not available in Pakistan, I am very surprised by this coz almost every medicine is available here and there are many good international standard pharmaceuticals overhere as well but still its not available.even glaxo smith klyne have a plant here but no wellbutrin. I have ordered wellbutrin over the net. I wanna know that meanwhile can I take buspirone(buspar) as an anti depressant and anti anxiety coz I don’t know how much time will wellbutrin take to arrive. Is buspirone safe wid sexual side effects? Basically my male hormones are ok its just my anxiety and fear. My second question is for the last 3 – 4 days I have started experiencing chills or numbness in my central head. Its not a headache but feels like if some kind of anesthesiatic injection has been given to the head. As I told u already that I was living a very happy life wid no problem in head before I had that incidence of impoteny which caused this anxiety and depression in me and I had no chilling headaches in my head ever before that just some little migranes once in a while. So wat could be the coz of this chilling headache, could it be coz of the depressive and anxious mood I have coz I think whenever the compulsive thoughts of that incident come to me, my concentration lessens and this chilling effect of numbness comes in my head, I haven’t taken any medicine since my depression started a few months ago. So can this chilling and numbness headache be a result of serotogenic changes.or is it something else coz when it comes it becomes intolerable. Wat shuld I do. Plz help.

Pasha, I would like to help you figure this out but you should also be seeing a physician at the same time. I can not practice medicine over the internet and you should not be prescribing medication for your self.
When you go to a physician, ask him or her for a neurological examination to be sure that your chilling and numbness do not have a neurological origin. It is unlikely but should be quickly checked, and certainly checked if it continues or the numbness extends.
Also, ask your doctor for some viagara, as suggested before.
Buspar is a good and safe medication without sexual side effects, but have it prescribed by a doctor.
