The laws governing this are state by state, but the fed also has a say. In california, you can still get thc but only if documented medical needs. It's pretty tough.
There is a class of drugs called endocannabinoids. Synthetic drugs which bind to the same receptors as THC. These drugs constitute the few Schedule I drugs on the market and Marinol is one example.
I wouldn't want to draw to many conclusions from your post but I would urgeUrge incontinence you to consider whether THC is medicinal or utopian?
I have no problem with persons seeking to "feel good" per se but that is not a method for attaining a long term therapy which places the emphasis overcoming or dealing with the larger issues of functioning creatively and autonomously despite having underlying issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, etc..
If I were you -- and I'm sure the average doctor would disagree with this advice -- I would take phentermine while quitting marijuana. Phentermine might provide you with the "boost" or "energy" to get through the psychological withdrawal.
Again, I'm not a doctor. I'm sure this advice is "bad." But then again, you're smoking pot. That's not even legal. :)
FROM MEDICAL / AND ADDICTION STUDENT DO NOT TAKE FEN FEN-THATS SPEED AND IT SOUNDS LIKE THE ADVICE FROM PRIOR POST IS OFFERING YOU MORE OF A PROBLEM THAN A SOLUTION! I ENCOURAGE YOU TO TITRATE DOWN OVER THE COURSE OF A WEEK.DECREASE INTAKE TIL EVENTUALLY YOU ARE OFF-THEN WHAT? WELL BEGIN TAKING ANTI-OXIDANT VITAMINS WITH B-12 SUPP., VIT C SUPPL., AND DRINK 8 8OZ GLASSES OF H20 DAILY X 4 WEEKS!!THC IS A GATEWAY DRUG AND AS YOU SEE MOST PEOPLE, INCLUDING SOME M.D.'S ARE IGNORANT TO THE DISEASE OF ADDICTION AND THEY WILL TELL YOU THIS. SEE HOW PRIOR POSTEE RECCM'D FEN FEN(PHENPHETERMINE) SPEED OOOPPS HERE YOU WOULD BE OFF TO THE RACES W/ ANOTHER CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE-NO GOOD-DO YOU TAKE OTHER DRUGS? IF SO WHAT ? FOR I CAN'T CLINICALLY RECCM'D A PLAN UNTIL A LITTLE MORE HISTORY IS AVAILABLE! UNTIL THEN TAKE IT SLOW!!
I smoke marajuana once or twice a week and I am currently taking Zoloft and Wellbutrin XL...After a night of smoking, the next day I feel very lethargic and tired even after I had enough hours of sleep. I know that it is not a normal feeling because I don't feel like this everyday especially when I don't smoke. I just want to know has anyone else in a similar situation ever experienced this before and what would be the best way to address it? It has become an issue between my girlfriend and I and has gotten to a point where she finds that I am using it as an excuse for feeling so tired. What can anyone tell me, it will be very appreciated.
Stop smoking marijuana and you'll find out. If you are suffering from depression then you really SHOULD NOT be smoking marijuana. I have friends who smoke this stuff and it makes then feel lethargic, depressed and moody. Most people aren't aware that Marijuana is psychologically addicted which is just as bad as having a physical addiction. It will not help your depression it WILL make it worse.
These drugs are very potent and are almost exclusively reserved for cancer patients and persons suffering from AIDS.

i was of course self medicating.
i managed to kick it when i realised that it wasnt giving me the help i needed after such a long time at very high doses of very high potency stuff.
it was extremely hard, but it unveiled the real issues and now i am tackling those without the influence of THC clouding the situation.
what's more, i actually felt better when i was truly clean- but you couldnt have convinced me of that whilst i was using and dependent.
