I am not sure what dose you are on, but if only at o.5 at night, you shouldn't have any trouble with withdrawals if you simply cut that in half for a week, take that dose every other day for a week, then stop.

I actually have been on clonipin for 6-7yrs now and I saw a high risk Dr. for other reasons, but she tried to put me on buspar for anxiety I hated it so she reduced me from 0.5 mg's 3 times a day to 0.5 and my lil girl was 100% heathy...

I am 15 weeks pregnant and I would like to talk with you about taking Klonopin. Iam 28 years old and I have a due date for April 2, 2008. I suffer from anxiety/panic disorder. My doctor does'nt want me taking Klonopin, because it's a Class D medication for pregnancy. I'm going Nuts because I have to take it and I'm worried about the risks to my baby. I was weaned off my klonopin as af Sept 16,2007 but I had a refill left 2mg 60 pills I had to refill it, because I cannot cope without it. Can you please get back to me and tell me about your baby girl. I would greatly appreciate it thanks and I hope you are doing ok and your little baby girl :-)  From Mom2Be28

When I got pregnant I had been on Klonipin, welbutrin, and seroquel every day for years.  I quit all 3 of them when I was about 12 weeks pregnant.  I was put on zoloft/daily...and Oxazapam (like klonipin but safer for baby) AS NEEDED.

Now I have a very happy, healthy 14 month old.  Zoloft is used a lot in pregnancy and it's considered the safest drug for pregnant moms.
