How long does it usually take for Paxil to kick in?  Days, weeks?

by HFHS M.D.-SW, Nov 19, 1999 12:00AM
Dear Kat,

Paxil is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor antidepressant.
When taken daily an effective dosage of 20 mg, may take 4-6 weeks to work.  In some patients it may take longer and/or need to be increased.
It is best to discuss your concerns with your psychiatrist.

Respectfully,

HFHS M.D.-SW

What is the difference between Paxil and Wellbutrin?
I see alot of people take Welbutrin alone, and then some with Paxil (or other meds).?
