Hello,
male, 240 lbs.
Was taking 1 mg clonazapm at night to help with TN and atypical facial pain from a baseball bat injury to head and jaw.
Stopped taking abrubtly and now one week later and from what I feel and what I read on internet I in middle of withdrawl and having trouble.
The meds were not helping with the pain and I wanted to end the side effects during the day .
Please advise if I can start taking again to help end the cold sweating ,sweating plams, colld all over, cold feet, insomnia, insomnia, insomina, anxiety, etc...
can I take take 1/4 or 1/2 mg to start back up and then I can ease off???
Or how long will the wthdrawl laast.
Dr. on vacation and been wating for call back....

I would think that one quarter to one half will end your symptoms, then withdraw over a weeks period, maybe two if you are sensitive.

Sudden ceasation of klonopin has been observed to cause seizures and convulsions - be careful with this (or any) medicine you are prescribed and ask your doctor how to stop taking it if you no longer wish to take klonopin. Otherwise, dose strictly as directed by your doctor and continue to see them while you are taking it for check ups.
