DJ,

It is never o.k. to be having thoughts of suicide regardless of the situation.  Zoloft may be helpful in this situation if it is appropriate.  If you are having strong thoughts of acting on these thoughts then you need to go to the E.R. immediately or see your psychiatrist immediately for treatment.  Please keep in mind that this forum is not intended as a crisis intervention but rather as an educational experience.  I hope this was helpful.

Sincerely,

i don,t know your situation, but sucide is never the answer, most everbody has stress in their lives at sometime or another, some of us can deal with it better than others.i for one don,t, but with the right meds and god i,m better. for the last 3 years or so, i had to watch my mother fight for her life, for 14 months to lose her battle with cancer, i thought my life was over too, she was only 56,and speical to me, it will be 2 yrs the 28th of this month, and the pain of losing her is still very hard, sometimes i think i can,t go on,but i do because my husband and kids need me,just like my mother needed me,their is so much more i could say on this subject, but won,t. what i,m tring to say their are people in your life that love and need you, sucide is not the answer,it might end your suffering here in this life, but what about your enteral life, and the ones that would suffer because of it. their is a light at the end of the tunnel.        GOD BLESS  my prayers are with you.       dee
