Hello,
I have been taking
zoloft, 25 mgs, for 6 weeks. I feel this is very helpful, but I've definitely noticed 2 side effects that are bothersome.
FirstFirst progesterone mc10
First progesterone mc5
First-progesterone vgs 100
First-progesterone vgs 200
First-progesterone vgs 25
First-progesterone vgs 400
First-progesterone vgs 50
First-testosterone
First-testosterone mc is my vision is extremely sensitive to sunlight. And secondly, I have numerous body twitches, most prononounced upon awakening in the morning. I would
simplySimply sleep like to know if these effects will gradually go away. And are the body twitches anything to be concerned about? In the side effects list from the phamarmacy, it did list muscle
spasmsCoronary artery spasm
Croup
Eyelid twitch
Facial tics
Hand or foot spasms
Urge incontinence
Vascular spasm/twitches. What could cause this? I hope I'm not making some sort of underlying medical condition worse? Any info from other posters would be welcome, also.
Thank you
R/55 I'd also like to give advice to anyone out there who struggles with
panicPanic disorder
Panic disorder with agoraphobia and have tried the ssri's, only to have the symptoms worsen. I was the same way, but I began this med very very slowy. 1/4 tablet at a time. Increasing every 3 weeks. This has made taking this so very easy. And the change in mood and calmness are amazing. I was very depressed and full of anxiety for a long time. There is hope. You just need to be patient.
Anyway, about the only side affect symptoms left are trembling finger tips and insominia.
Hope that helped...
Thank you so much for your response. Which is more than I seem to be getting from the doctor of this site. I still have trembling hands from time to time, which really bugs me, because I thought this stuff was supposed to help, not increase, anxiety. Hopefully this will all pass. Have you noticed positive results, though? Regarding your insomnia, I had that in the beginning, but switched to taking this in the morning instead of evening. Insomnia is gone, haven't slept this well in ages.
Best wishes,
R/55
My primary symptoms seem to have been addressed by Zoloft, game plan with doctor is to wean off after six months.
John
I want to thank you for the statement u made about taking only 25 mgs. that was something beneficial i told my son. Glad u are doing good.
You know, it's interesting, I was wondering too why the doctor says how powerful these drugs are. It rather worries me as am I doing some kind of damage to my brain in someway.? I wish others would comment on this too, the powerfulness of these medications. And if others have the same concerns.
My very best wishes for your son. You sound like a very thoughtful Mom.
