2 concussions from football

First off, I've already seen a neurologist. They don't seem to help.

I play football for my high school and during the season I got two nasty concussions. I've been out of school for about 2 months with a severe migrane (migraine) or headache and the docs say it's just the PCS. I'm in loads of pain and all the doctors did was give me relafin( I could just have overdosed on advil) and propranolol( don't work makes me dizzy) I just need to know if there is like a type of painkiller that doctors can prescribe to me that is non addictive? They just told me to wait it out and I'm getting very depressed about this whole thing. Maybe you can help me or maybe you can't. Anything would be great. When I say anything, imean anything.

I was looking through old posts, trying to find a link between the head injury I sustained from a football and my 'headaches' that I get now and I cam across your post. I don't know if you ever found out the cause of the pain you were suffering - I'd be interested to know if it was headache or perhaps trauma to the neck, spine or soft tissue damage, or even if you know at all what was causeing your pain? as I'm not convinced mine are simple migraines and unrelated to my injury as my nurologist says.
