6 month migraine, and no relief

I'm a 15 year old girl and I've had a migraine for close to six months now. It's a constant pain from my temples to over my eyes. I've tried countless medicines and none are helping. When I was in 4th grade(5 years ago) I had a migraine for a month. Eventually it went away, but we had extensive tests, and everything came back clear. My neck hurts, moving hurts, I'm sensitive to light and sound, I'm nauseous, my migraine is very optical. Caffeine is the one thing to give short term, and only partial relief. I'm a very busy person and I do a lot of extra work for school, so it's hard to be missing so much school. I miss 2 to 3 days each week, and I can't see my friends anymore. I suffer with panic attacks, anxiety, and depression which are only made worse by this constant pain, it hurts to be typing this, so someone please give me some advice. We are currently seeing a PA, Neurologist with migraine specialty and a homepathic doctor. Please help

Hi and welcome to the Migraines & Headaches Community.

I'm sorry it took so long for me to respond!!

Being that you have a history with migraines as well as anxiety you really need to see your PCP cause there are some preventative meds you need to be on as well as needing abortive meds to stop it all in its track.
Ask about Buspar, Elavil, Imitrex, Inderal, Pristiq, Topamax....just to name a few. It really helps to be on a combination of meds to help both migraines and anxiety then you can also take Amerge, Fiorinal or Fioricet as needed.
