A little nervous

What could be causing the severe pain on the left side of head,  between my temple and my eye?
It starts with little or no warning, lasts from 5 to 15 minutes and when it is over there is no sign of pain at all.
My eye does water some and my vains at the sight of pain feel as if they are pulsing. The pain if rated is definitly
a 10.  It has been happening for quite some time and it seems the pain is stronger and accuring more often.

How are you? If there was no previous trauma or injury, this could be caused by an error of refraction or primary headaches such as migraine, cluster or tension headache. A cluster headache usually presents with one-sided head pain that may involve tearing of the eyes and a stuffy nose. It usually begins as a severe, sudden headache and may occur daily for months, alternating with periods without headaches. Although it is uncommon to have a mixed type of primary headache. Treatment does not cure cluster headaches but to relieve symptoms.  Avoidance of triggers and prescription medications may provide relief. Biofeedback therapy may also help. i have been having severe pain in the left side of my nose it is a burning pain with what feels like a headache on the same side. it is beginning to be more intense as times goes on can you tell me what this is or what causes this? thank you c b-powell

How are you? The pain could be due to sinus inflammation or infection.Sinusitis may presents with facial pain depending on the location of the sinus involved, in your case, maxillary sinuses. Nasal congestion, headache and post nasal drip may also be present. Have this checked by your doctor for proper management. Antibiotics may be indicated. Take care and regards.
