Advil migraine makes my headach go away but the medicine bothers my stomach what should I do

I'm having a problem with the medicine I take for my migraines. I get migraines that are severe enough that when I get them I can't work or do anything until it passes, and sometimes they can go on for a couple of days or more. Luckily, I only get the headaches a couple times a month at most.
My problem is, that I the medicine I've been taking for many years to treat the migraines is causing me side affects that are getting worse every time I take it. I take Advil Migraine and although I tried many presciption meds over the years, this one seems to be the one for me. I had little success with other meds and a couple of them caused some pretty serious side affects in me. The Advil has helped and and I've stuck with it and it continues to make my migraines go away.
I always noticed some mild stomach upset would occur, usually 24 hours after I've taken it. But now, the stomach pain and nausea is geting so bad, it is enough that I'm hesitant to take it anymore and I don't know if I should try another medicine or if I should try to do something else that relates more to the stomach issue? Would eating certain foods or taking antacids at some point reduce this stomach problem? I would like to stay with this medicine but the stomach pain is starting to become pretty unbearable.
Thanks for any help

Hi,
How are you? Advil (Ibuprofen) belongs to a class of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These drugs are used for the management of mild to moderate pain, fever, and inflammation. Ibuprofen should be taken with meals to prevent stomach upset. I hope this helps.Take care and best regards.

Thanks for your response. I do usually take it with food, but the stomach upset doesn't occur until about a day later, typically in about 24 hours. So perhaps I should try taking an antacid the next day? I don't know if that would help this or if my problem is a sign I should not take ibuprofen for awile and try something else. What would you suggest?

Do this exercise everyday and the headache will reduce and the need for medication will decrease over time.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Anulom Vilom –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 20  minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.
