Anyone suffer from Depression & Migraine?

I have had migraines since at least my 20's but i remember having bad headaches as a child also. Was wondering if anyone suffers from depression also that might have migraines? I heard there may be a link between them.

I've been getting migraines since about 2003 and i was officially diagnosed with depression sometime around last year (or the year before) but had symptoms of depression way before the diagnosis came (i was a psychology student so I knew i was depressed way before anyone else did and a couple of years before i requested the referral to the psychiatrist). I never really made much of a connection tho. Unless the migraines are a result of stress from the depression. But i know i get migraines even when I'm on my antidepressants and i think if they were caused by the depression the meds should suppress them. I'm not sure if I get less since being put on my depression meds but I don't think so. I'm not saying there is or isn't a link. I guess I'm just saying I'm not sure either lol. At any rate you're not alone if that helps any. :)

Thank you. I think there may be a link, physiologically but not sure. Ive had them for about 17 years now and can remember being a little depressed on and off.

Yes, I do. I'm in my late teens and have had these migraines since 2005. They are so intense that I can't do anything but curl up and scream. However I haven't been depressed for that long, (roughly four months). I'm not sure if there is a link, my migraines came first so I don't think there is in my case. You said that you've had migraines since your twenties, but I don't know from that how long you've been having them. Do you find that they come in regular cycles? This is probably an obvious answer but anyhoo, are your constant migraines causing your depression? Or are your migraines a result of something that is causing your depression? Sorry I'm not helping much. But I'm in the same boat, if that helps.
