Anyway to reduce the migraine? Pill or something.

Hello guys. I'm MudiW. I REALLY need a treatment for Migraine. I have used a pill called Relert. It was good, but way to EXPENSIVE. It was 22 USD just 2 pills. Here in Panama. And will only work if its beginning the migraine. So please, any good pill for the migraine or something. Because I'm getting desperate.

So any good pill. Gel caps or something. I prefer if have shipping to Panama. Please a good one.

I suffer of: hypothyroidism

Thanks. For the one that helped me with something good that worked. For sure i ill give him a donation (paypal).

THANKS!
Best Regards
MudiW

Don't freak or anything, I know this is a medical website. But if you have already tried all kinds of pain meds for migraines, why not give something else a try like massage therapy or acupuncture? It's a whole lot cheaper than those pills and there are NO SIDE EFFECTS! It does work for a lot of people too.

Just a suggestion.. .

Do this for 14 days, and if you feel a very slight improvement, then continue for 4 months, and your migraine will be under control.Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop, and resume later.
Anulom Vilom - Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30  minutes twice a day(maximum 60 minutes in one day).
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Hi,
NSAIDS include Motrin, Aleve, Voltaren, Celebrex and Indocin.

Imitrex is the brand name of Sumatriptan but I am not sure if it is available without prescription.
Hope this helps!

Hi,

How are you?
Triptans are the best treatment for aborting an acute attack of migraine. However if Relert is expensive for you, you can opt for other Triptans like Imitrex. I am really not sure about the cost.
Apart from Triptans OTC NSAIDS are also helpful in controlling acute attacks of migraine. The best treatment for migraine is identification and avoidance of trigger. A headache diary will help in identification of trigger.
Magnesium supplements which are available OTC have shown very good results in preventing acute attacks of migraine.

For years, before all the modern trpitan drugs were available, I used naprosyn and caffeine tablets to delay a migraine.  I was never able to really stop one, but this combination worked very well for me and is very affordable in the USA and would delay a migraine for me for hours.

From a lifetime of having migraines nothing much can stop it if the migraine is too far advanced (unless you get an injection to enable you to sleep it off)..

Good luck in Panama!  Hope that naprosyn (Aleve) and caffeine tablets are available without a perscription there...
