Atypical migraine?

I was diagnosed as having atypical migraine the other day.  Now I suffer from migraines all the time and this was no normal migraine for me.  My symptoms were pressure in my right eye, the right side of my face felt like rubber, and the right side of my body felt very heavily weighted down.  There was no pain involved what so ever, and my typical migraines are very painful and make me sick.  I wasnt nauseous at all.  Does this sound like atypical migraine and if so please explain to me what this is?  The doctor wouldnt explain it the other day to me.

Migraines are usually unique to each of us...like our personalities. Some things are the same with some quirks. I had a few small strokes 2 years ago and some white matter deterioration in my brain which gradually has led to atypical migraines that have become worse and worse. I had no idea that you could have a migraine without a headache. I get nauseated. My triggers are light mostly so I've become a bat. I feel best at night. I wear sun glasses outside and in buildings with flourescent lighting. Noise and crowds give me trouble. Change in weather gives me trouble. I can have some sinus pain. Lately I have experiences gas and indigestion with nausea. Sometimes my hands and feet burn and my bones ache. Sometimes one side of my head hurts. I get confused in groups of people. I can't read or use the computer for long periods of time because it makes me nauseated. I can't work. I just got on Topomax (topamax) 6 weeks ago. Not helping yet. My first Neurologist told my that some people just have headaches and to go home. I took 2 years for another Neurologist to diognose me with atypical migraine. This is going to be a tough battle with SSDI. I have a hearing soon.
