Blackouts and Headaches

Hi,
I have been experiencing blackouts which tend to only last about 10 seconds, and leave me with a very bad headache afterward. I do have low blood pressure 110/80, and have had an MRI and done what they call the tilt table test, but both came back with no conclusion of why I am getting these.
When the occur it is usually when I move positions, sitting to standing or crouching to standing. My vision will go completly blacked out, and I lose all balance usually dropping me to the floor, or having to put my head in my hands.
Instantly I get a very painfull pressure in my head and have a headache for hours afterwards.
Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks for help!

Would this have anything to do with Slipped disks? I was in a car accident two years back and my LI L2 and L3 slipped.

Hi,

Your symptoms are very suggestive of postural hypotension. This condition is characterized by rapid fall in BP on standing from a sitting position or lying down position. This occurs due to peripheral pooling of blood in the lower limbs due to prolonged sitting or lying down.
You can avoid this by making sure not to sit in one position for too long, standing gradually from sitting position, maintaining your salt and water intake throughout the day. In some cases compression stockings will also help.
