Body temp to rise

Body temp to rise

I get migraines among other types of headache but notice my body temperature rises during a headache but not to a fever state often. What causes this and if heat is a trigger for me, how can I prevent it?

                    Thanks,
                        Paula

Hi Paula,
How are you? Normal body temperature may change through out the day and it is usually highest in the evening. Factors that may affect the body temperature include ovulation, physical activity, strong emotion, eating, heavy clothing, medications, high room temperature, and high humidity. Try to have a headache diary. If heat indeed is the trigger, you may need to find out what causes this. Take care and do keep us posted .
