Brain lesion

Dear doctors,
two years ago I've started to have a terrible headaches every day when I woke up and I felt sick but I didn't throw up. Since it happened every day, I've done a various medical exams and after doing brain scan they've found the brain lesion 8,2x77 mm but they didn't know the cause of this lesion. They've told me to repeat this scan which I did two years ago when I've started to have this headaches again and now the doctor said that the lesion is still there and that it hasn't changed. She also says that it is probably something that I've gained when I was born and it is not related to headaches. Later on when I came home I saw on the medical exam that lesion is 10 mm in diameter. Now I'm not sure what to do? Should I keep searching? Better to ask you should I be worried? Please help

Hi.

Your Neurologist should be able to tell you the nature of the lesion. It is important to know if this "lesion" is a tumor. The treatment plan will change accordingly.

And the meningitis does not seem to be related to this.

Dear dr.Abhijeet
I don't have any specific problems besides a strong headache and a nausea in the morning. When this headache starts to be greater I start vomiting and I can't stand light. Apart from that I don't have any problems. It says that lesion is in basal ganglia and my headache starts from back of my head and spreads to the front. I do have grandfather who died of brain cancer and I had meningitis in the age of 13. Should this have any impact?

Hello.

It seems the lesion has increased in size a bit. Did you, or do you still have any other symptoms apart from those you mentioned ? Like..... loss of urine control, etc. You should ask the doctors to explain the nature of the lesion to you. You may also take a second opinion.

All the best.
