Can I take Relpax for a migraine three days prior to surgery?

by 1950Tricia, Oct 23, 2009 06:31AM
Hi.   I'm within three days of having surgery; therefore, I can't take Aleve for a headache, a really bad one.   Can I take Relpax for it?

Sorry, I don't know.  I haven't been prescribed Relpax, so I don't know if it has blood thinning properties, like NSAIDS, or not.

I think you might have to suffer through the migraines prior to your surgery, unless someone else knows for sure and can tell you that it's safe to do so.

Sorry, I see you mentioned headaches, but didn't specify which kind.  I assumed it was migraine, as I have migraines myself, and I've heard of treating them with Relpax.
