Can Sinus issues cause a change in vision?

Can a sinus problem lead to a temporary change in vision? Everyday for a week I am seeing flashes of lights and little odd colors like a photo has been taken of me. They dont last long (less than a min ute) but are enough to annoy me and it happens a few times a day. My nose is congested and my head hurts pretty badly from the sinus pressure. Just wondering what this could be and if there is any relation between the two?

Yes, sinusitis will sometimes cause change in vision that is clarity of vision because they share the same nerve supply. However, the other cause like temporal artery migraine due to spasm should also be considered. I suggest please take an appointment with an ophthalmologist since an eye examination will reveal far more and accurately what the problem could be and for proper treatment.
