Cataflam stomach releif

Hi, I was taking Cataflam for my headaches on a pretty daily basis. Of couse it being a NSAID it did exactly what most do, it killed my stomach. What can I take that will give me relief? It's not heartburn, or indigestion, it's a pure stomach pain, my stomach burns and occasonaly I feel like I want to vomit it hurts so bad, I can only drink water, anything else aggrevates it. some eating helps, but most not. I have medicines for other issues that I have to take a few times a day, and I think of them and I gag. Will just Mylanta help? or is there something better that will coat my stomach more? or is this just a give it time to heal type of thing? I've tried pepto and another generic chewable antacid, which is nothing more than calcium and NOTHING. :( I'm desperate. any ideas?

I would suggest you to undergo a complete gastrointestinal examination to rule out the possibility of ulcers. Ulcers occur very commonly after prolonged use of NSAIDS.
Short acting NSAIDS are safer than long acting ones. You can discuss with your doctor for an alternate medication.
Meanwhile you can take soft bland diet, drink plenty of water, avoid packaged and junk food and take plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
