I also have had a headache for 20 months 24/7. I've had two MRIs, cat scans, blood work, been to ENTs and I'm now on my third neurologist. I have been given every neurological drug known to man but nothing has worked. I also have an appointment with an eye doctor next week. If he finds nothing then the last thing to check is my CSF pressure. Has anyone suggested that you get your CSF pressure checked?
I am going to go to an eye doctor next week. I had a few suggestions that maybe there is an infection in the eye area causing the pressure and headaches....we will see. Meanwhile, dizzy and pressure continue...its weird, whenever I take some kind of a medicine, it seems to cut the edge, not fix it, but helps. Does that happen with your daughter.
My daughter has just been diagnosed with Chronic Daily Headache. We thought she had a virus one week, then 3 weeks later a sinus infection, and 5th week developed headache, dizziness, mostly pointing toward sinus problems. Pediatric Nuerologist says this is becoming more common. We went to the ER and the Dr treated us like she was a nut case! You really need to find a DR that understands. It makes all the difference. I wanted an easy answer too, and a fix, but we haven't gotten either one.
Not really, its more as the day goes on that things start to feel better. And then in the morning it starts all over again. Does yours get better when you close your eyes?
for about 2 1/2 weeks, I've had the same problem I wake up and then when it comes to focusing i get like a pain that makes u want to close ur eyes. If I may, When you close your eyes does the pain go away?
I go in Fri for a vision test...I have had 2 other people suggest this...I really hope it works. Thanks for the advice.
Waking up with the headache is a whole different thing. Have you tried sudafed? Also, ask the pharmacist if you can take some benedryl before you go to bed. It will make you sleep deeper but not good to get used to doing it everyday. Find a headache clinic at a good teaching hospital in your area. If the doctor thinks your crazy, time for a new doctor. Really, a headache clinic will be ready and able to help you with this. You have the right to receive good medical care and not be in pain. Also, I know it is a pain, but keep a headache diary before you go. Remember, doctors can only help us based on this info we give them. YOUR NOT CRAZY.
Hi,
I would suggest you to go for a vision test. Also get your blood pressure checked.
hope it helps!
