Excessive Migraines

I was wondering if anyone can help me, I have been having migraines since I was 14 but they have progressively gotten worse over the last 2 years. I am currently keeping a migraine log with my doctor, but I have been on inderal, topamax, and amitriptilyn in the past (not sure about spelling but I'm no longer on them) I had no relief even on the medications.

here are my symptoms
- flashing lights
- dizziness
- unbalanced/I sometimes fall
- items look sort of wobbly, and sometimes even bigger or smaller than what they should be?!
- left side of head, always left side.
- I get shaky where I cannot write or hold sliver wear
- Lasts anywhere from 3hrs to 3 days.

Hi,
How are you? What recent diagnostic tests have been done? Aside from headache journal, imaging studies such as CT scan would also help determine the underlying cause. Although your symptoms are often observed in migraine aura, it is important that you work closely with your doctor for proper evaluation. Rest, ice pack, avoidance of triggers and migraine medications may help. If your present medications are not helping, it is important that you inform your doctor for proper management. Take care and do keep us posted.
