Fioricet Withdrawals

by Loops1212, Oct 13, 2009 10:35AM
I have been taking Fioricet since I was 18, I am now going on 51...and I really want to stop taking this med.  After years of suffering from these headaches, I started going to a chiropracter, and they have eased off.  So I decided to try to stop taking these pills.  I only really take them, when I feel the headache coming, but I've been trying to tolerate them(being I have been able to, since going to this Dr.); however, Sunday night, I had a severe panic attack and my body started shaking uncontrollably, since my husband SO bad, I couldnt breathe(or so I though).  Ever since then, I've felt LOUSY...so today, still not feeling well, I said...let me just take a couple pills and see if that helps & sure enough, EVERYTHING went away.  Though my Fioricets do not have the codeine in them, my body must have been having withdrawals already...now I'm DETERMINED to stop taking them, but the withdrawals are really scary.  Has anyone tried, or has stopped taking this med and succeeded or has any good suggestions, PLEASE share them with me.  I would greatly appreciate any information you can share with me.

Have a great day :)
