Have had a headache for the past 2 months.

well im usually a person who never required pain medications for headaches because i rarely ever get headaches.

but every since nearly 2 months ago, everyday about 1 hour after i wake up, i start getting this type of headache, it feels like pressure in my head, and a feeling of "full-ness" in my head and it makes it hard to concentrate sometimes.

usually paracetamol does not work and i need to resort to ibuprofen type medication, but the headache usually comes straight back.

at first i use to get "thump thump" feeling as i laid down as though there was vasodilation in my head but not anymore.

also, my blood pressure is fine

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
Sleep paralysis is known to occur more frequently in people who sleep with their face upwards, who have irregular sleep schedules, or are under increased stress.
I would suggest you to learn some self relaxation techniques to cut down stress if you feel under a lot of stress.
It is also important to rule out sleep apnea since you have a history of snoring. Please consult a good neurologist as you may need tests like EEG, sleep study and CT scan of brain.
Take care!

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
One of the causes of early morning headache is low blood sugar. Please make sure you eat something when you get up in the morning.
Other possibilities include depression, anxiety, sleep apnea and sinusitis. Neurological causes like a brain lesion also needs to be ruled out.
Do you snore at night?
If yes the possibility of sleep apnea is strong. I would suggest you to get yourself clinically evaluated since it is difficult to give an exact diagnosis without clinical examination.
