Head ache e sense of contraction

Hi, I am 33 years old guy kinda worry about my more than usual long headache, story started in 2007 once evening I started experiencing throbing pain on the top part of my head ( at one specific point)  and it went on for more than 15 days , however the intensity of the pain was mild , low and high, but fortunately after few weeks it went away.

in 2010 I also experiences same kinda pain with the feeling of contraction on my head I think it was again focus on a point / small part right side of my head . I visited to my doctor and he suggested me to go for Xray . in xray report every thing was normal eccept in one side of my nose the bone was displaced a bit , my doctor suggested me to vist  nose specilist , specilist suggested me  drops  to put two time in my nose , I did it and i got relief from continous head ache and contraction

now in 2012 July  from past last four days I feel continous mild pain which started on the top (right side) of my head
and started rotating to left side then back side  of my head I also experiences kinda pressure on the up side of my right eye and left eye respectivily ,

Now I have kinda continious heavyness and sense of contraction on my forehead , I visited to my doctor and he suggested me

1. medicines foe the relexation of  brain mussels

2. Drops for the nose in order to respire better

From past few months I am taking multivitamins + Bcomplex

few days ago I experienced small pain on my left neck and shoulder which later went away

I have few questions

1. Why do I have continous  contraction / mild headache

2. Is it serious ?

3. Does it need any Brain surgery etc ?

4. I am worried if its is associated with brain tumor etc  ?????

5. my doctor said no for MRI or city scane ???????

6.  please suggest what should I do ??????????'

Thanks

Bob

Dear Thanks for the email.

I  am  relex after your kind reply, I am  experiencing small mild pain on the left side of my head from past two weeks , same situation was in 2010

in 2010 I also experiences same kinda pain with the feeling of contraction on my head I think it was again focus on a point / small part right side of my head . I visited to my doctor and he suggested me to go for Xray . in xray report every thing was normal eccept in one side of my nose the bone was displaced a bit

Do youthink it may be due to small deformation in my nose bone ? I never had any head injury.

Wishing you very good heath

Thanks for your time

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi Bob,
How are you? If there was no history of trauma or injury to the head, your headache could be due to primary headaches such as migraine, tension or cluster headaches that usually go away after a few days of rest and medication. These type of headaches are usually not serious and do not need surgery. Brain tumors usually present with very intense headache, with vomiting, neurological deficits, and even seizures. CT scan or MRI may help rule out tumors in the brain. However, with your symptoms present, your doctor may have decided that such imaging studies are not indicated. But you can also discuss this with your attending physician for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
