Headache after protein

by tigzzz, Apr 13, 2009 04:30PM
I have started(in the last 6 months) to get headaches after eating high protein meals such as after eating beef, lamb or turkey. I don't seem to have as bad of a response with chicken or fish although if I eat a lot of chicken in a short time I will still get a headache. The headache comes the following day about 14-20 hours later. I have had a test come back positive for an allergy to soy but I stopped eating soy and was not having any headaches for quite some time, but now they are back when I eat meat. I take digestive enzymes with all meals and I take a pro-biotic once a day.
