Headache won't go away

I've had a headache every single day for the past 3 weeks and I'm not exaggerating either. I've always problems with headaches. Right after exercising as a child id get terrible headaches. I've been to a neurologist as a child and was told it was not migraines and nothing else was done. We'll recently I've been getting headaches and normally ibuprofen/Tylenol would help but it hasn't even lessened the pain whatsoever anymore. I've had this headache for 3 weeks now and was again told it wasn't migraines but a thing called chronic daily headaches. I'm on vitamins b-2 and magnesium for prevention. But still, I find this weird. My doctor blamed it on lack of sleep, and dehydration. I am constantly drinking water and I get a decent amount of sleep. It's so weird because nothing is helping this headache and I've been missing school. I even tried my moms medicine, Maxalt, which is for severe headaches and it didn't lessen the pain either. Nothing helps, not even ice packs. I am also very fatigued. And I get these random pains throughout my body. I was sitting in school and the area between my shoulder and elbow on Both sides of my body got this weird, burning pain that almost made me cry. Then it was suddenly gone. And I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I've been noticing a good amount of blood in my stool. Please reply ASAP. Thank you

No, I've never had a head MRI. And maybe!

Go to the doc about the stool thing.
Have you had a brain MRI?
If the mri looks good then you should try migraine meds. Migraine does not always look like these typical unilateral pulsating migraine headaches that the doctors think. I think there is a pretty high probability that you could be helped with migraine treatment.

Blood in your stool is never something to take lightly. You should definitely see a MD about that. My daughter has been suffering from a migraine for three weeks and hasn't been to school since this started. Let me know if anything is helping. We have tried everything!

Hi,

I was also diagnosed with CDH. The only thing I found that made a difference was amitriptyline. Been through CT, MRI, LP and various blood tests and nothing found.
