Hi,

How are you?
Pain medications like tramadol and medical marijuana can cause short term memory loss. It is usually seen if these medications are taken for prolonged periods of time.
Stress, sleep deprivation and anxiety are also causes of short term memory loss. I would suggest you to relax and wean yourself off the pain medications under medical supervision. If the memory loss still continues it calls for a complete neurological evaluation. Take care!
