I need help!!!!!!!!!

Over the past 4 years I have repeatedly gone to chriopraticers and they have all done x rays and they all say that I dont have the normal curve in my neck. So I began going to them 3 times a week but this doesnt help. The pain is maybe there once a week when I finish going to them but then all of a sudden I start having the pain more and more I try ice I try heat and at this point nothing is helping any more even the Chiropracter. I also suffer from migranes. Now with my neck pain I get these bad headaches at the base of my head. This is the worse pain I have ever felt this has been going on for 3 years now and I have associated it with my neck pain. Also a few years ago I had talked to my primary care doctor about numbness that I was experiancing in my arms which seemed to get worse at night. He never made an appointment to see my just sent me some arm things to wear at night. These have not helped. Last night I watched a show and it never accured to me that maybe all these could be related to each other. What do you suggest I do.

I was in a car accident that left me with terrible neck aches, tingling in my arm, nerve pain/ burning sensations in my upper back, and extreme headaches. I went through many different treatments (herbal, chiropractic, massage, acupucture, physical therapy, etc.). Although the chiropractic sessions would offer the most immediate relief, Doing physical therapy caused the nerve symptoms and eventually the headaches to go away. I'm sure that you might be skeptical because you don't have the same beginning cause, but it's worth a try.

Hi,

How are you?
Your symptoms of neck pain, numbness in the arms is very suggestive of nerve compression in the cervical region.
I would suggest you to consult a neurologist and undergo a neck X ray or a CT scan to diagnose the level of nerve compression.
In the meantime please rest your neck, do not indulge in activities that require bending of neck for prolonged periods, do some simple neck exercises and take OTC B complex supplements. Hope this helps!
