Migraines can often be mistaken for sinus headaches. Some doctors will even misdiagnose a migraine and tell you that it is a sinus headache when really it is a migraine. So, that might be why you think that this is a sinus headache.
Like Julian87 said though, the best thing to do is to be seen by a doctor... although if that doctor suggests that you are having sinus headaches, I would ask him to refer you to a migraine specialist because of how often doctors misdiagnose migraine headaches as sinus headaches when really they are 100% migraine headaches. A migraine specialist will know for sure. If you can't get a referral, then get a second opinion if you are told that this is a sinus headache... as this does NOT sound like a sinus headache... although it may not be a migraine, you are for sure dealing with something other than a sinus headache (or maybe something in combination with a sinus headache).
Your symptoms like zig zag lines, neck pain, headache, vomiting sensation are very suggestive of migraines.

I would suggest you to see your GP about it. In the meantime you can take magnesium and B 12 supplements as they have been shown to reduce the frequency of migraines.
Hope this helps!
