Medication worry

Have had Hx of migraines but past few years ocular ones. Am on very low dose of Topamax at bedtime, Aleve, or like that, in day IF get one. Went to ENT yesterday because have had off & on dizziness, fluid in ears, headaches. HX also of inner ear trouble and TMJ surgery that was successful.
Question is, I am afraid to take the medicine he gave me. I work for a family medical doctor and I am not very good about taking medicines and this one has me afraid to take. It says on bottle Ergot/Bellaonna/Barbital. Dr said take BID or if too sleepy on it just take 1 dly.
I take Lexapro, Topamax, Synthroid, Provigil, and just don't think from reading up that this new one will some of those.
Anyone have any ideas on this old medicine. Its one from way back that doctors use to give I remember for sinus/migraines to relief tension, tightness around my TMJoints. Thank you.

This is an old medication. Ergot is used for controlling migraines. Belladona is mostly used in homeopathy for stomach colics. Barbital is used as a sleep aid.
Since you are already taking medications for migraine and provigil for sleep disorder I do not really think you need more medications. However it is better to consult your PCP about it since he can evaluate you clinically also.
